Download the fully functional, unrestricted simulator version of Ashling’s PathFinder-XD Debugger free of charge

PathFinder-XD is a C/C++/Assembly debugger based on the Eclipse/CDT framework and supports debugging using the included software simulator or the Ashling Opella-XD Debug Probe connected to your target hardware. PathFinder-XD provides full support for debugging “bare-metal” (no target operating system) and Embedded Linux based applications. PathFinder-XD runs on Linux x86 and Window™ XP/Vista/7 hosts.

To download the simulator version of PathFinder-XD just fill out the below form and select Request Download. Please Note:

This version of PathFinder-XD does not support Ashling’s Opella-XD or Vitra Debug Probes; contact Ashling to purchase or upgrade PathFinder-XD to provide full Ashling Debug Probe support for hardware debugging.
The PathFinder-XD evaluation download is targeted at MIPS™ architectures and includes the popular QEMU simulator ((c) 2003-2010 Fabrice Bellard, http://www.qemu.org) which allows you to download and run/test/debug your MIPS™ based application programs without any target hardware. QEMU is included in the download and automatically installed by PathFinder-XD’s SETUP program
A full ‘C’ example program is provided suitable for running on PathFinder-XD/QEMU
