August 14th, 2019 – Limerick, Ireland.Ashling today announced a new strategic collaboration with Synopsys Inc., providing a Plugin that allows use of the MathWorks MATLAB and Simulink tools with the Synopsys DesignWare MetaWare Development Toolkit. The Ashling-developed Plugin compiles MATLAB/Simulink-generated C code using the MetaWare Development Kit, resulting in code highly optimized for running on Synopsys DesignWare ARC processors, particularly those with DSP extensions.
At the Synopsys ARC Processor Summit in Silicon Valley on September 19th, 2019, Hugh O’Keeffe, Ashling’s VP of Global Engineering, will present how the Plugin works and demonstrate its usage with MATLAB designs.
