Ashling’s RiscFree SDK provides full support for Akeana RISC-V ISA based processors, including the 100, 1000 and 5000 series, with an IDE, compiler, debugger and probes. It will also support the RVA23 compliant Alpine test chip when it becomes available later this year, along with the Akeana software development board (SDB).
The Ashling RiscFree toolchain includes support for code development, debug and trace on Akeana processors and includes advanced features such as multi-core support, Linux debug with MMU awareness, real-time E-trace support, hypervisor mode support and cache awareness. Highly optimised GNU GCC and Clang/LLVM toolchains for the Akeana architecture are also included and fully integrated into the RiscFree IDE.
Ashling’s Opella-XD debug probe and Vitra-XS trace probe are also available for Akeana, again with support fully integrated into RiscFree.
